Harry Potter Love Potion Recipe Ingredients
(makes 2 cocktails)
For the Love Potion base recipe
50ml Triple Sec
2 tbsp lemon juice
100ml cranberry juice
soda water or lemonade to finish
goji berries to garnish
Easy Love Potion Cocktail Recipe Method:
To begin fill your cocktail shaker half-way with ice. Pour the amaretto, gin and triple sec over the top.
Roll a lemon on a worktop, cut in half and squeeze out the juice. Strain to remove any seeds and add 2 tbsp into the cocktail shaker. Pour in the cranberry juice and place the lid on top.
Shake the cocktail base for 60 seconds until the shaker is frosted. You can use the base immediately or transfer into a bottle and store until you're ready to serve.
To serve, fill a glass with ice and carefully pour the cocktail base down the side of the glass until it's an inch from the top, keeping the top of the ice as dry as possible.
Sprinkle the edible glitter over the top of the ice and take to the table. Just before serving pour soda water (or lemonade for a sweeter taste) over the top to swirl the glitter into the drink. Garnish with berries and enjoy!
Cheers! This Harry Potter cocktail is the perfect accompaniment for a Harry Potter Party or a night in with your favourite Witch or Wizard!
