This week we're moving on to Chapter Ten of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets "The Rogue Bludger":

Time for another magical Harry Potter Potion recipe!

Poor Harry has lost all the bones in his arm - fortunately I've got a really easy Skele-Gro potion recipe that will have him feeling better in no time!


This easy Skele-Gro Potion recipe will show you how to make Madam Pomfrey's famous potion in minutes. Better yet, this easy smoothie recipe is packed full of fruit, high in calcium and vitamin D so it really can help grow healthy bones! If you've been looking for an easy Skele-Gro Potion recipe follow this simple step-by-step recipe to create your own Harry Potter smoothie recipe!


Harry Potter Skele-Gro Recipe Ingredients

(serves 4-6)

  • 1 small papaya

  • 3 passionfruits

  • 100g dates (pitted)

  • 3 bananas

  • 50g goji berries

  • 200g greek yoghurt (with added vitamin D if you can find it)

  • 500ml milk

DIY Skele-Gro Potion Recipe Method:

  1. To create your easy Skele-Gro Potion, begin by preparing your fruit. Peel the skin off the papaya and slice in half lengthways. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and then chop the papaya into small chunks.

  2. Slice the passionfruits in half and scoop out the insides, discarding the skin.

  3. Chop the pitted dates into small chunks (if you can't find any without the seed, slice each one in half to remove)

  4. Peel the bananas and chop into small chunks too.

  5. Place the fruits into a blender along with the goji berries, yoghurt and milk and then blitz until thick and smooth.

  6. Taste the Skele-Gro potion and then add in extra milk if it is too thick.

  7. Transfer the potion smoothie into a jug, seal tightly with a lid and it will last for 3 days in the fridge.

  8. This Skele-Gro smoothie is best served cold. Shake the bottle well before pouring.
